Heidi
Teacher

Heidi Emberling has been making music her whole life and has been teaching Music Together classes since Fall, 2005. She took Music Together classes with both her children (now 8 and 5 years old) and just couldn't give it up! Heidi is also an Early Childhood Educator at Parents Place working with families with young children ages 0-5. She teaches parent-child baby, toddler, and two-year old classes, in addition to presenting workshops around the Bay Area on a variety of early childhood topics. She has a Master's Degree in Education, emphasis on Early Childhood, from San Francisco State University.

Heidi has performed in many musicals over the years and she and her husband formerly sang with the San Francisco City Chorus. She plays guitar and loves dancing to salsa music. She also brings music to both her children's elementary school classrooms with the hope of instilling a love of music in the next generation.
