Teacher

Kate has had a love and interest in music ever since she can remember.
Beginning with piano lessons at age 7, she then bounced from flute and
saxophone to recorder ensembles, and vocal groups, being exposed to
many forms of music and enjoying the challenges of them all.

Kate was born and raised in Menlo Park, where she continues to live in her childhood home. Since 1992 she's been consistently active in different music groups varying from small acoustic duos and bands, to an 8-piece African rock band where all songs were sung in Congolese.

Having difficulty deciding what to be when she grows up, Kate discovered an ad for jobs with Music for Families and readily responded. Kate enjoys being around babies and small children so she's excited about this next new musical journey!
