Teacher

Singing before talking and constantly making up songs as a child, Teacher Tricia has always found pure enjoyment and appreciation for most all music as a child and as an adult. While playing in a band, she wrote most of the music that they performed and recorded.

With more than 10 years of experience teaching music in Montessori environments, she spends time tuning into the needs of your children and "following the child" developmentally and with regards to music development. With her energetic disposition, Teacher Tricia keeps the flow of music going through active engagement.

Before finding Music Together, Teacher Tricia created the environment of Music Together with her now teen daughter and until this day still plays music games and makes music one of the most important parts of their lives. Children quickly warm up to Teacher Tricia because she plays on their terms. A quote you will find her continually saying is allow and encourage our children "In their own time and in their own way!"

Teacher Tricia also provides music in the community she lives in an outreach capacity. She currently works with kindergarteners and an elderly care environment and this fall is beginning classes with teens and children with special needs.
