"I
like music class because it's so fun. The teachers keep teaching
fun things, they let me do some playing on their instruments, I
like dancing and singing with everybody. I'm just so happy in the
class."
-- Neil N., 4, Sunnyvale
"Music
Together has been a wonderful addition to our family's activities...
The teachers are wonderful - kind, enthusiastic, interested,
patient,
and just a joy to be around. I highly recommend Music Together
to anyone with small children!"
-- Tara B., Sunnyvale
"My
son has attended Music Together since he was 8 months old. He was
2 in March and absolutely LOVES music class. As soon as the new
semester starts, the only CD he wants played in the car is "Music
Class CD, please." He remembers the words to the songs he enjoys
the most and has even started answering the "bah-bah-bah's"
in between the main songs. He gets VERY excited with each new song,
dance or instrument introduction during class. I just love how he
now sings the songs during class. He even tries to teach some of
the kids in his daycare some of the short chants (like "Here
is the Beehive...")."

"I
love your program and enjoy listening to the music which is as pleasant
to adults as to children. I marvel when I hear my 2 year old daughter
spontaneously break into songs or bits of songs she's learned at
Music Together."
-- Zeina D., Menlo Park
"This
program has been invaluable for both my children. It has clearly
fostered an early love of music and movement."
--Jennifer M., Palo Alto
"I
cried during our first class when I saw how much my daughter was
enjoying the class. At first I thought it was just the post-partum
hormones but then I noticed that our au pair was also tearing up!
I also appreciated how [our teacher] always included "Baby
Will" - my 2 week old newborn - in the hello and goodbye songs."
-- Tricia J., Palo Alto
"My
youngest daughter, Nani, has been in Music 4 Families since she
was about 3 months old, and she LOVES every minute of it! She would
go to class every day if it were up to her! She loves to sing, play
instruments, and dance to all types of music. [Our teacher] is her
favorite person, and every night when she goes to bed and I ask
her what she is going to dream about, it's dancing and singing with
[our teacher]! Thank you, thank you, thank you for being such a
wonderful part of our life!"
--Amara C., Mountain View
"My
husband is very musical and really appreciates the theory behind
the curriculum and the rich underlying complexity of the music.
Our kids (2.5 and 10 months) just love the teachers and the experience!"
-- Neela G., Menlo Park
"My
son knows at least 50 songs - he sings all the time, makes up words
to the songs he knows and just loves music. He's passing it all
on to his little sister. And most incredibly, I actually sing too."
--Jennifer O., Menlo Park
"My
family likes Music Together so much that we've done the whole 3
year program with one daughter, and are planning to do the whole
thing again with our other daughter. It is really professionally
presented, from the teachers to the CDs and other materials. You
come away from every class singing the songs and inspired to make
music at home using the bunch of creative ideas presented by the
teacher that week. My friends joke that we go to MT mostly because
Mom wants to do it. Well, there's truth in that: it's one of the
highlights of my week too."
-- Michelle C., Palo Alto
"My
2-year-old daugher loves Music Together and has been going since
she was 6 months old. She loves to play musical instruments (especially
the piano and anything with a keyboard). She is quite a talker and
I believe her early exposure to music has helped her language develop.
She loves to sing and usually breaks out into song every now and
then due to her exposure to music at such a young age. She was singing
verses of songs before she was actually forming full sentences when
talking."
--Allison C., Menlo Park
"My
3 year old daughter sings the songs from her music together class
constantly. She started loudly singing a Native American chant from
the Spring "Tambourine" CD in the dental office the other
day and the dental hygienist was really impressed. The music from
the class has found it's way into our every day lives and helps
to lift our spirits daily."
--Caroline C., Los Altos
"My
children (4 & 18 months) have both adored Music Together. The
songs, teacher, and curriculum are wonderful. [Our teacher] has
helped to make music come alive in our home. Now we often sing as
we talk to each other and we love listening to the CDs together."
-- Elizabeth D., Palo Alto
"We
moved here a year ago, found out about Music Together online, and
joined immediately. Since then, we have been extremely happy
and
my daughter absolutely loves the class. She is constantly singing
the songs during the week and has really learned to express herself
through music and instruments."
--Jenni T., Mountain View
" My son and niece take these cleasses
together at the end of often long and tiring days, but by the
middle of the class we are all
jazzed up and dancing and singing at the top of our voices (I am
anyway!), and laughing and just feeling ready to tackle the world.
My daughter often joins us for the ending portion of the class after
her violin lesson ends next door. My sister and her other baby,
my mom, my husband, and my brother in law all have dropped in often
because they had to see what all the excitement was about. We play
the music on car trips or around the house; on the cd player and
on the piano. My 2 year old often asks for [our teacher's] music."
